This beautiful bunch of artificial white tulips is a perfect imitation of a bunch of real tulips. They even feel like their fresh counterparts. You can put them in a glass vase with water as if they’re real and no-one would know. The tulips are great in a vase by themselves and are also very pretty combined with other tulips, eucalyptus twigs or bundles of pussywillow for example. Take your pick and invite spring into your home.

Specifics of the artificial white tulips

These beautiful imitations of white tulips are 37 cm in height and made of polyether polyurethane, we call ‘real touch’. It is a new component. It is used instead of plastic or silk to offer a more natural look and feel, which sometimes can be mistaken as a real flower. Seriously, they look, feel and actually move like real tulips.

Real touch flowers are appealing for not only their touch and feel but also their texture and vivid color. Their characteristic is amazing because the flower head is not easily broken by folding. Furthermore, as a flower material, polyurethane is stable and does not change easily. It can retain the memory of its initial shape after being subjected to external forces such as squeezing and pressing and they have all the detail and feel of Mother Nature. You can touch and feel the tulip veins as they are not “printed” on the petals like on the traditional silk flower heads or leaves. They have the same touch and feel of fresh flowers even under sunlight.

These artificial white tulips come in a bundle of 5. One is still in a bud and the others are in different stages of flowering like in a real bunch. There is a metal wire in them so that you can bend them in different ways, mimicking real tulips. Just remember, once you cut the stem, avoid putting them in water as the wire in the stem will be exposed to the water and might rust.

Dutch Design

The artificial white tulips are great in a simple vase but even more pretty in a tulip vase. Check out the one in in the product gallery. It is one of the Tulipa-vases by the Dutch Designer Lotte van Laatum.  The shapes of the vases are derived from the traditional Dutch Tulip vases. Because the tulips were so extremely expensive (at the peak in 1637 one tulip bulb was sold for as much as a coach house at the canals in Amsterdam) the vases only have a small number of openings.

These vases are out of production at the moment. Lotte will be reproducing them again soon. If you want one now, I recommend setting up an alert on Marktplaats, Catawiki or Ebay. I got this one from Marktplaats, a Dutch site. It’s well worth the search for a tulip vase of any kind, really, because tulips really do look great in it. And with these artificial white tulips, cleaning the tulips vase – which is always a fairly impossible chore – will be a thing of the past. Forever tulips in a forever clean vase!

Help yourself to a bundle of these artificial white tulips. From Holland, with love!
