Yellow artificial Dancing Orchid, officially known as Oncydium Orchid, shown in a tall Delfts Blue vase.

Specifics of the yellow artificial dancing orchid

With her many playful bright yellow flowers this artificial dancing orchid is a true work of art.
I have used 12 stems in this arrangement, each with 4 twigs counting ca 10-12 fragile flower heads made of a silk mix. The branches are 92 cm in height.

There is a wire in the twigs so you can bend them in any way you like. This way you can match the arrangement on the image. Put the bouquet in water if you prefer a see-through vase. The stems are sealed so that’s no problem and it will to add to the effect. Just make sure that when you decide to cut the stems a little shorter, you’ll have to re-seal them before you put them in water, as the wire may rust.

Dutch Design

The vase in which the yellow artificial dancing orchid is arranged is an antique vase made in the Dutch picturesque town Delft. Delft is known for it’s ‘Delfts blue’ and the paintings of Vermeer. I got this one from Ebay, but you’d be well off to set up an alert on Catawiki and Marktplaats (Dutch website) too.

The best part is: cleaning tall antique vases is always a tricky job. But with these artificial blooms, that is a thing of the past. I offer you endless flowers in a forever clean vase… Heaven!

– Enjoy!
